Here are the specs for my junk computer. When I get time, I'm probably going to install Linux and FreeBSD on this system to experiment. Anyway, here it is:

  • Trident 1 MB SVGA video card, running in 800x600 256 color mode.

  • Boca 14.4 Fax/Modem
  • 3.5" Floppy
  • Windows 95


    I also just built a new computer towards the end of Feburary, and it is what I use now:

  • Diamond 1000 GL Pro w/ 4MB
  • Internal ZIP
  • Sony 24x CD-ROM
  • Supra 56K Voice Modem
  • SoundBlaster AWE64 Sound Card
  • Linksys 10BaseT Ethernet Card
  • 3.5" Floppy
  • Primary OS: Windows 98 Build 1687 with Direct Sound and Time Limit Patches, Secondary OS: Windows 95


    I use this computer for all of what you see here, HTML, Graphics, etc. It multitasks very well, and allows me to be very productive.
