I mostly listen to electronica, but have a little bit of everything in my vast CD collection, including: Death In Vegas, Orbital, Future Sound of London, Chemical Brothers, DJ Keoki, Prodigy, Orbital, FSOL, Fat Boy Slim, David Holmes, Meat Beat Manifesto, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Notorious BIG, 2PAC, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Jamoriquai, etc.... I don't care for Country at all, and I will listen to most any other type of music if it's live.
Lately, I have been really disgusted by the overplaying of Ska/Punk, and CHUMBAWUMBA!! ICK!! I think that the electronica explosion is wonderful. My two favorites would have to be Orbital and Meat Beat Manifesto. Orbital is simply flawless, and everytime I see an Orbital CD that I don't already have, I buy it over any other CD I had picked-out. Another group that put out a really good first album was Crystal Method.
I am really optimistic about 1998 as far as music is concerned. Some of the artists releasing new albums include: Tori Amos, Nine Inch Nails, Meat Beat Manifesto, and Smashing Pumpkins.
I currently have around 30 CD's worth of Mp3's (1.6 Gigs or so), and I would like to trade. I will have an Mp3 list up soon of what I have. Please E-Mail me if you have something that you think I would like.
